Terrible Tuesday

A SAD FACE FOR A BAD DAY! =-(

Well today when I went to get McKenzie from school I was putting Emily in the car and McKenzie's teacher was putting her in. So I looked at McKenzie and asked her if she had a good day and her teacher looked at her and said "You will have to tell her I was not there so I do not know" Then McKenzie said I had to move a monkey today and I said what for and her teacher said that there were 3 kids in Spanish today that just would not listen and kept talking and McKenzie was on of them. I looked at McKenzie and told her "Well there goes your game" So on the way home I was thinking it was not right for her to have a friend over when she got in trouble at school ( I bring Emily home on Tuesdays for a little while then take her to dance) I called Emily's mom and told her what was going on and asked her if I could take Emily to her aunts house then I would go back and get her in time to take her to dance. When we got home I talked with McKenzie and asked her what the problem was and she said she was talking to another little girl and a little boy. I told her that she lost her game for a week and when we got home from dance she was to get her bath and go straight to bed. I also gave her three pops on her behind. I told her that I have asked and asked her to stop talking during class and nothing I have said has stuck with her so maybe a few pops on the backside will serve as a reminder that I am serious about her being good in school. She cried and said she was sorry and she was going to have a good day tomorrow. I told her that I know she can be good because she has been in the past. After fussing at her I felt so bad about it. =-(
It is so hard being a mom. I hate fussing at her. She is really a good child but I am afraid if I do not get a hand on it now it will be harder later on. She is only five but if those other kids can go all day with out getting into trouble she can also.
So this has been a gloomy day for me. I do hope the rest of the week is better.
