Last week of October! =-o

Cute picture for today!!
I just love pugs!! Wish I had one!

Can you believe that this is the last week of October??? Goodness where does the time go?? Before we know it we will be putting up the Christmas Tree and Ol' Santa will be making his way to town! This has been a pretty good week so far. I worked at the school on Monday and will be there for a little while in the morning.
McKenzie gets to wear her PJ's to school again tomorrow. It is Drug Free week at school so they all the kids were told to wear PJ's in honor of "Follow Your Dreams" It is so fun for the kids when they can wear their PJ's to school.
Well until next time!!

Show and Tell

Don't you love this picture!

Anyway today was McKenzie's show and tell day so Robbie went to be her show and tell. He dressed in his SORT outfit, took his shield, and hat. He told the kids about what he did and and why he wore that outfit. When they asked a few questions they went out to look at his car and I think that was the hit of the entire show and tell. The kids loved looking at the car and seeing the lights. He even hit the siren for the kids one time.
It was fun for all
Until next time.

Maize, Pumpkin Carving and Boo in the Zoo

We had a full and exciting weekend starting Sat. Friday was a rainy day so we stayed in and did nothing. Saturday we went to the Maize and got completely lost! Ha! But isn't that what you are suppose to do? When we got home we carved pumpkins. McKenzie drew a face on one of hers, it was really cute. Then on Sunday we went to Boo in the Zoo. There were so many people there it was crazy. We like going there though because she gets really good candy and things there. So here are some pictures from our weekend.
Until next time.

Jesus Loves Me in Spanish

You have to turn the volume all the way up on this one because she was across the room from me when she was singing. I am so proud of her though for being able to sing the whole song without help in Spanish.

SORT Training

My husband is the commander of our local sheriff's office's SORT Team. They started this team several months ago and have training every other week. They had training this morning and here are a few pictures from that training.

Pumpkin Patch

Woo Hoo, we went to the pumpkin patch Thursday and had a blast!! McKenzie was so excited about going and could not wait. So the day finally arrived and we got there and went on a hay ride out to the pumpkin field. Ms Angie talked with the kids and told them a little about how the pumpkins are planted, how they grow, and how to know when they are right for picking. So McKenzie walked around the field looking for just the right pumpkin, I was walking around looking also and found a good looking pumpkin and showed it to her and she said Momma that one is too big I want a smaller one so she finally found her perfect pumpkin. We then went for a picnic lunch and we were finished eating it was time to go. She had a great time and so did I. I think the rest of the kids had a good time also. Here are a few pictures from our school field trip.

Been a busy but good week!

Well today is Wednesday and it has been a busy week so far and the rest of the week will be busy also. Monday I worked at the school as a sub for 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. It was a Lit/English class. Then I had Emily on Tuesday after school, took her to dance class and brought her back home cause her daddy did not get off work until late. And today I was back at the school as a sub in the lunch room. It is really fun being at the school. Every one is really nice and they are beginning to learn my face and who I am. But the best news of the week is I have a new baby cousin!! My cousin Ryan and his wife Jennifer had a healthy baby boy this morning at 1am weighing in at 7 lbs 9 oz and 18 inches long. He did not weigh too much more than McKenzie did when she was born, anyway they named him Austin Ryan. He is the cuties thing!! I can't wait to get to see him in person.
Isn't it the strangest thing, one day you are just man and wife then the next day you are Mom and Dad! So a great big Congrats to the proud parents Ryan and Jennifer!! I have not met the little guy but I already love him to pieces. Here is a picture of new my precious baby cousin.

Shoe tying!

Well I tell you teaching a 5 year old to tie shoes takes the help of the entire family!! But once she gets it it is like WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! We are so proud of McKenzie, she finally got it after tears and fussing! She has really worked hard this week. First she learned to count to 100 then we worked on tying shoes. She is so happy she finally able to tie them. She is walking around the house carrying her papa's shoe going from person to person showing them how she can tie the shoe.
Good job baby I am so very proud of you! You are working so hard and growing up so fast. =-)
Until next time!

Wonderful Weekend!!!!!

After a BUSY week I am so glad it is the weekend!!! Even though I need to go to the grocery store (because we have nothing to eat or drink at the house) I am still glad this past week is over. We had to do something everyday!! Wore me and McKenzie out! Next week will be another busy week but not as bad as this past week. Robbie has to go for a nerve study on Tuesday, Wednesday we have a conference with McKenzie's teacher, (it is just an end of the 9 weeks conference)McKenzie's class will be going to the pumpkin patch on Thursday, she is excited about that. Then we will have a LONG weekend!!! No school on Friday!! Teacher work day, the teachers have to get the report cards ready to be sent home. So we are looking at another busy week but I think it will be a little better because there is no school on Friday!
Until next time!

Rainy Day Wednesday!

Today was a down pour of rain!!! McKenzie's daddy took her to school this morning and as I was watching them leave it looked like a normal morning, I of course went back for a nap but when it was time to go and get her from school it was raining like crazy. I was suppose to have all three girls this after noon but Emily's mom called and said she got off work early so I could just bring her home. Which was good because having 3 little girls locked up in the house for 4 hours would have been hard and loud. LOL Ellen and McKenzie watched TV played McKenzie's game, played school, colored and played with babies so it was a pretty good afternoon. I am tired though rainy days make me lazy and want to sleep. So after supper we will take baths and head for bed!!
Until next time!

Past Tired!!

I am so tired. I stayed up late last night reading and when I got up this morning to get McKenzie ready for school my phone started ringing. I knew what it was. They were wanting me to come and Sub. I love that that call me because it is such a BIG help with her tuition but I punish myself by staying up so late. I was a sub for 5th grade today and it was not too bad there was one child that tried me but we took care of it. But Guess what I am headed to bed at 8 tonight. =-)
Until next time!!!

McKenzie's Playhouse

McKenzie asked me the other day when could we get out the Halloween decorations and I told her that maybe we could get them out this weekend sometime. So today she said Momma are you going to get the Halloween things out and I told her that I would. I went to our building and got them and decorated her playhouse. Here are a few pictures of her sweet little house.

Busy Weekend

This was a very busy weekend and it took a toll on me!! First off Friday night was homecoming at McKenzie's school it started off by having a family fun night starting at 5pm at the football field then the game started at 7:30 then of course homecoming at half time. I am very proud to say that our cousin won Homecoming Queen. I am so very proud of Meagan for this accomplishment. McKenzie had a ball at the family fun night. There were bouncy things, sand art, and there was a hay ride. That was fun. They also had face painting but McKenzie said she did not like to have her face painted.
We stayed until a little after halftime because McKenzie and I both were getting tired.
Saturday morning McKenzie danced at our local festival. She did SO good, I was very proud of her. She did a small tap number and then a small clogging number. This is the first time she got to do a real dance during the festival. The past couple of years all she got to do was a warm-up thing but this year she got to do actual dances. We came home for a little nap then went back to town to watch the fireworks. They were really good.
Here are a few pictures from our fun filled weekend.
