I have been working on my blog for the Fall season! I liked this one with the pumpkins!! Thought it would get me through until my Favorite time of the year....Christmas!!! I can not wait until the Christmas season, all the lights and sounds!! Can't wait!

This has been a great weekend!! We did not have to go anywhere and could take a nap when we wanted and just did not have to worry about a thing. These are the kind of weekends I love!!! McKenzie loves to stay at home also. She will start asking me about Wednesday "Momma how much longer before Saturday so we can stay home!!" She gets tired of going somewhere every day! I am glad she is like that, loving being at home. A lot of people I know can not stand to stay home but it is just relaxing to me not to have to go anywhere and not having to get dressed. Just staying in our pj's all weekend.

It was a very rainy day today. Good sleeping weather!!
McKenzie got out of school today at 1:30 and when we got home we did absolutely nothing!!! Exactly what we wanted to do!! Momma and I made a huge pot of Veggie Soup!! Yum Yum!!!! It was so good, I ate two bowl full!!
Momma and I did clean out McKenzie's underwear and PJ drawers. That took way longer than we thought it would. While we were working on her clothes I asked her to run upstairs and get something for me and when she was coming back down she slipped and fell on the steps. She hurt her back but she is so scared she will have to go to the hospital or Dr's office she will not tell you when she is hurting, so we asked her are you ok does it hurt and she would say no it is ok but she did not know momma was watching her and she was giving to her back a little so we are going to watch her tomorrow and see how she acts. If she is still hurting I may end up taking her to the ER and let them take a look at her. Every since my mom had her wreck and was in the hospital for 2 weeks McKenzie is scared to death of hospitals and Dr's bless her little heart.

My mom bought me one of those small video recorders that you take the video and load it to your computer so I was playing around with it tonight seeing how well it works and how to download the video to my computer and my blog. So here is the video. This is Kalley our Manx cat and McKenzie. We are trying to get Kalley to talk with us. She did a little, listen carefully!
I am so Tired!!! I have been keeping kids after school all week!! Tuesday and Wednesday I had Emily then today I had Emily and Ellen. WHEW!! They are really good kids, I could not ask for any better it is just a big difference going from one little girl to three!! Today they all had dance so getting 3 little girls ready for dance was a challenge but we got it done and made it to dance on time with the help of Nana!! They had a very good time playing though. They love to swing and today they all went on an acorn hunt! It was not hard to find the acorns but it was funny, they were so excited to find them, each of them had their own little bucket or something to put theirs in. When we got Ellen home McKenzie said OK so who is coming home with us tomorrow and I told her no one it would just be me and her tomorrow! =-) She did not say anything about that. I think she got use to bringing someone home with her. But anyway I am tired and am ready for a quiet weekend.!!! =-)

Happy First Day of Fall!!!McKenzie is so excited about Fall. She loves looking at the changing leaves and loves to see them fall to the ground!
McKenzie woke up this morning at 5am!! My goodness!! We usually do not get up at 6:45 on school mornings but she was so excited about the tooth fairy coming to see her I guess she just could not sleep any longer. So I was sound asleep and I get jolted awake with "MOMMA!!" so I am like "What,What's wrong" and she said "The tooth fairy took my tooth but did not leave me anything" So I said "Wait a minute, settle down, let me get the light on" so I turned the light on and there it was, Money in the middle of the bed. I pointed to it and she grinned from ear to ear and said "Momma, She left me some money" I said "Good" So we laid there until the alarm went off. When we got up she was all smiles and so excited. She had to go and wake up her Nana and Papa to tell them what the tooth fairy left her. Then when she got to school she said she was going to tell all her class mates and teachers about her tooth. In her class they have a chart and if you lose a tooth you get to put a sticker on it but her teacher could not find the stickers but she said she was going to find the stickers so McKenzie could put hers on there. McKenzie said all her classmates were so happy for her about her tooth. McKenzie said that sometimes when she is eating it hurts and I told her it would for a couple of days but it would get better.
We had to stop by Grandma Joan's house to show her and Regina. She is so funny she did not want it out but now that it is she is so happy. She told her Nana that it has been bothering her for a while now but she did not want to tell us because she did not want it pulled.
But it is out and she is SO happy now!!

My earlier blog today was about McKenzie and her teeth. Well Guess what!! She lost one tonight! Well her Nana pulled it, but it was ready! It needed to come out it was the one that was darker because several years ago she fell on some gravel and hurt her tooth and mouth so every since the day she fell that one tooth was a little darker than her other teeth. Well for the past couple of weeks it has been getting loose. Well the other day when I looked at it, with her crying and pitching a fit, it looked as if it was sitting crooked and a little in front of her other tooth. So tonight Nana told her she wanted to look at her tooth. Of course McKenzie starts showing out and screaming and crying. So after a few minutes of her being upset Nana got it out.

McKenzie cut her baby teeth very early. She was 3 and 1/2 months old when she cut her first tooth, so we knew she would start loosing them early. The week of her 5th birthday one of her bottom teeth started getting loose. She told me one day when I picked her up from school "Momma my tooth feels funny" I sad what is wrong with it and she said "It feels wobbly" So I felt it and sure enough it was loose. A few days after her birthday her Nana pulled it. I told her well look at you, you are a big girl now, you have lost your first tooth. But the weird thing about this is her "big girl" tooth was already half way out before we pulled her baby tooth. We thought nothing of it. Well now she has another big girl tooth that is all the way out and her baby tooth is not loose at all!! So she has two teeth, one right behind the other on the bottom. I keep telling her she needs to wiggle it so it will get loose and come out but she screams and cries every time we even talk about it. She is so afraid of the dentist and her teeth being loose. She hates for us to talk about her teeth. I took her to the dentist and asked them what they thought we should do about it. He said not to worry about it. He said it was not a big deal. She also has a loose tooth on the top. Her "big girl" tooth has not popped through the gum yet so I am hoping that tooth will come out before her "big girl" tooth decides to come in.

Ok so we went to get groceries today and it was so much!! Everything is going up...Gas...groceries... I just do not know what people are suppose to do. But at least we have a kitchen full of food I just hope it last a little while. McKenzie will eat and eat. LOL
It was a really pretty day and McKenzie loves it when it is like that out so she can play out and swing. She does not like it when it is so hot out.
We are hoping her favorite horse will be at the Farm tomorrow so she can go and see him. She loves Roc. She even bought him some carrots.
McKenzie decided that she did not want to go and try out for the Nutcracker today. I asked her what was going on if she just did not want to go today or at all and she said she did not want to do it at all. I am going to talk with her more about it to see if she will change her mind. I would like for her to be in it but I am not going to make her do anything she does not want to do.

I am so tired!!
After not working for 5 years then working 3 out of 5 days this week wore me out! It was fun to work and I enjoyed it but it really wore me out. I did not have to work today so I rested until time to pick up McKenzie. When she got in the car today though she said she was not feeling good, she said her tummy hurt and her head hurt. So I asked her if she was hungry and she said she was so I asked her what she wanted and she said she wanted soup. When we got home I warmed her up some soup and she almost ate it all. Then after watching TV for a little while she said she was tired so we went and laid down for a little while. I am glad it is the weekend this has been a very busy week.
Tomorrow McKenzie goes to try out for a part in the Nutcracker. I hope she gets the part of the toys under the tree! Last year she was one of the baby angels. Here is a picture of her dressed up as the Angel.
Today McKenzie got her progress report from school!! She did SOOOOO good!! She got all satisfactory grades and a very good note from her teacher. Her teacher said she has seen a lot of improvement in her writing and coloring. She says McKenzie has a lot of enthusiasm and always participates. I am just so proud of her!! I knew she was a smart girl and would do good!
I will be subbing again at the school tomorrow but this time I will be in a Spanish Class!! =-0 I just hope they do not start talking to me in Spanish cause I will not have a clue as to what they will be saying LOL !!
I am thankful for the cooler weather! I love the cooler temps. not COLD but cooler!

OK so I went to work again today in the lunchroom at McKenzie's school, and today was not as crazy as yesterday because the lady that is over the lunchroom was there today. We served Chicken pie, green bean, and fruit cocktail. Those kids love some chicken pie!!! =-) Well at least the older ones do!! The kindergarten ones don't really care too much for it. I got to taste a bite of it after all the kids were finished and it was good I have to say!!! And those are some of the sweetest kids I have seen in a long time. When they are talking to you it is always, "May I please have" and "Yes Mam" and "Thank you" So very polite and thankful. You know most kids are like give me this and give me that, not these kids!!! =-) I told the admin of the school to call me anytime, you know you just do not mind working around kids like that!!
Weather wise sucked!! Rainy and it ended up getting chilly out there. I was so hoping that it would not be raining this evening because I wanted McKenzie and Emily to play outside but even though they were not able to play outside it was not too bad. They wanted to paint, McKenzie got some water color paints and she wanted her and Emily to do that so that took up a lot of the time they were here before dance. So we got to clogging class and they did good, both got a sticker and were happy!!
So I am beat, not working for 5 years then *Bam!* two days in a row!! So off to dream land I am headed!!

Well weather blues really! It is just dreary outside this morning! McKenzie's daddy took her to school this morning but I went out to see them off and it was very "blue" looking out there. I asked Robbie what the weather is suppose to be like today and he said rain showers this morning and clearing in the afternoon. I do hope it is not raining after school today because today is Tuesday and as you know Emily comes over on Tuesdays until time for clogging class. I like for them to be able to play outside so for one they get board very quickly in the house and two they make a huge mess!! LOL Well isn't that what kids are suppose to do!! =-)
As for me. I will be working again in the Lunchroom at McKenzie's school. Whew!! At least I know what to expect this time! =-) Yesterday was SO new to me but I have a little knowledge as to what goes on so maybe it will go a little smother today!!

Well for 5 years I have not worked outside of the home and today I went to work as a substitute at McKenzie's school. They called me on Friday and asked me if I would come and help out in the lunchroom. They had BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, and cold slaw. There was really no cooking because they had it catered in but it was a busy day. Continuous work from the time I got there to the time I left. McKenzie was so excited about me being there at her school. When her lunchtime came around she smiled and waved at me the whole time she was in there. It was so sweet. When her class was getting ready to go to recess she waved and waved at me and just kept blowing me kisses. When I got home I was so tired. My feet and back were killing me so I laid down and rested for a while.

Today has been another lazy Sunday. Not much going on McKenzie got up before 8am so her daddy said he would get up with her for about an hour then I needed to get up. (This is his weekend to work) So I got up with her but fell asleep on the couch. So she entertained herself and played with Papa.
Speaking of work, I have not worked in 5 years. I applied for a substitute position at McKenzie's school. I got a call from the lower school principal Friday asking me if I wanted to help out in the lunchroom on Monday. So I will be working for the first time in 5 years on Monday! McKenzie is very excited that I will be at her school with her. I on the other hand was excited on Friday when I got the call but the closer it is getting to Monday I am getting nervous about it.

Today was Grandparents day at McKenzie's school. =-) McKenzie has been so excited all week about it. The day finally finally arrived and they had a ball. McKenzie took Nana and Papa on a tour of her school. She showed them her music room, lunch room, art room, and her class room. They also got to eat lunch with her. They had a really good time. I am glad they were able to go this year, McKenzie was sick on Grandparents last year so they did not go. Here are a few pictures Nana took today.

Today was a good day for McKenzie at school again!! WooHoo!! I do hope that we are past the bad days for a while, a good long while!!! =-)
Tomorrow is Grandparents day at her school! She is so excited that her Nana and Papa will be coming to see her at her school. They are going to have a little program, have lunch, and a PEP Rally. She has been telling me all week that Friday is Grandparents Day!! She was not able to go last year because she was sick and did not go to school that day so I am glad they are getting to go this year.

Yeah McKenzie had a good day today at school!!! =~)I am so glad!! I prayed and prayed that she would have a good day and not get into trouble! I told her that when she had the feeling in her to talk and not mind the teacher, that was the Devil working on her and when she listened to the Devil she made God sad so when she had those feelings she needed to fight the Devil and not do as he wants her to do!! I told her when she fights the Devil, God is smiling down on her and she makes him happy!! She said Momma I am going to Kick that Devil in his heart and not do what he wants me to!! She seemed so proud of herself for being good and not getting in trouble at school today!! I hope she will keep it up from now on! I know she is little and will at times forget and talk when she is not suppose to but as long as she does not make a habit of it like these past few weeks we will be ok!!
Up date on my brother!! They have finally finished moving their things to their new home, now comes the fun part of putting every thing up!! Also he found out today that he will be starting at the Sheriff's Office on Monday!! I know he is glad! It has been a long time in coming for him but his dreams of becoming a deputy again are finally coming true! =~)

A SAD FACE FOR A BAD DAY! =-(
Well here we are at the beginning of another week! Yesterday was a lazy day for us all. Nothing at all went on.
So now we are starting a new week. =-)
McKenzie is still getting use to a new school year. She has had to walk the fence already several times this year so I told her over the weekend that the first time she walks the fence this week we were going to take her Monkey game from her and then any times after that she would get a spanking. I told her she is in 5K now and she knows the rules and should not be walking the fence so much. So when she got in the car today I asked her if she walked the fence and she said she did, her teacher was there and said what did you walk the fence for and she said for running down the hill. I told her teacher what I had told McKenzie about taking her game and the spanking, so her teacher said that she did not think that today's fence walking should be punished at home because it was just a "reminder" They made her walk the fence so she would remember that she is not suppose to run down the hill. So I told McKenzie that since her teacher said that today's fence walking was just a reminder that she could keep her game but if she walks the fence for talking or pushing then she would be punished at home. So I hope she does not have to walk the fence anymore this week.
I am still feeling a little bad this week. I do hope that all those hurricanes go away. I am tired of feeling this way. McKenzie is coughing and sniffling, She was well all summer and has been sick every since she has been back at school. Bless her heart she catches everything that goes around. I have been giving her meds for her cold but it has not seemed to help yet.

Today McKenzie and I went to Chandler and Carlee's Birthday Party. Chandler will be 5 Sept 11th and Carlee will be 2 Sept 8th. It was a swim party but McKenzie was not able to swim because she has a little cold and I did not want her to get worse. She had a good time though. She played with Noah until it was time to eat. They had pizza then of course cake and ice cream. After cake and ice cream McKenzie played with Cameron for a little while. Everyone decided to get in the pool, we stayed and watched them play in the pool for a little while then we came home. She said she was not feeling good so we laid down for a little while for a nap. After our nap we went and got supper then watched TV.

I am still not feeling too good! Hannah the Hurricane has moved and will not be a direct hit on SC they think but coming up behind her is Ike then there is Josephine! I will be glad when these hurricanes stop for a while. I do not like feeling like I have been for the past couple of days.

On a good note, Another Friday has rolled around!! Yeah! We have been invited to a birthday party on Saturday for Carlee and Chandler. It is a pool party but McKenzie has a cough and runny nose so she probably will not be able to swim, but I know she will have a good time playing with the other kids anyway. Her best bud Ellen will be there so she will be happy.
Speaking of Best Bud Ellen. McKenzie had to walk the fence at school on Thursday because her class was in line going to the playground and McKenzie decided she wanted Ellen to walk behind her so she takes it upon herself to push another little girl! When I picked her up from school she was telling me about her day so I asked her, like I do every day, "did you have to walk the fence" and she gave me the LOOK! So I knew right then she did. So I asked her what she did and she told me about pushing the little girl and when I asked her why she said "because I wanted Ellen beside me." I told her that it was not nice to push someone and asked her how she would feel if someone pushed her. She said she would be upset so I told her well don't you think that little girl got upset about you pushing her, she said yeah. She said she told the little girl she was sorry. I told McKenzie to keep her hands to herself and just because she wanted Ellen to walk beside her she should never push someone.

Well, we found out on Tuesday that my brother got the job!!!! =-) We are so excited for him! They will start moving back to our small town next week and he will be heading off to the Police Academy sometime in the next few months! He is so excited and so are we. He has wanted this for a long long time!
As for me I am still not feeling good. I will be so glad when all these hurricanes are gone. I ache all over. From my head to my toes! Well it is something that I have to live with and complaining will not change a thing!
On a good note it is almost Friday! I love Fridays when school is in because I know that McKenzie does not have to go to school for 2 days! Speaking of school most of the football games have been moved from Friday this week to Thursday because of Hurricane Hannah. Again I say it is weird that even though the hurricanes do not make it to where we live, they still have such an effect on us!

Isn't it funny how hurricanes can bother you even though they are miles and miles away? I have fibromyalgia. You ask, what is that, well it is something that hurts! Your body hurts, you have pain everywhere. Some days are worse than others.
I was told that I had fibro in 2004. Most of the time I have good days but when there is a change in the weather, I am in a fix. Yesterday and today are not good days at all. My body aches and also there is this burning feeling that I will have and my whole body feels hot, not hot to the touch but my insides feel hot. It is so hard to describe and if you do not have fibro you will not understand this pain. I can always tell when something weird is going on with the weather because of the way I start feeling.
