McKenzie is on a roll with her teeth!! She has now lost 5! She had this tooth that we called the tulip tooth, what it actually was, was two teeth fused together. It does not happen often but it does happen. Well her "Big Girl" tooth came in a LONG time ago and I have been worried to death about it because her permanent tooth was all the way out and she still had this baby tooth in front of it. Every one said its ok do not worry about it. But as a mom i could not help worrying about it. So last week I noticed that the tooth was bleeding. To me, it looked like the tooth was filling up with blood. So I told her we needed to get that tooth out as soon as we can. Well last night (1-19-09) she told my mom, "Nana, I think it is time to get this tooth out" So my mom looked at it and went to wiggle it and it just fell out in my mom's hand. There was one little mishap with the tooth. There is a little root that did not come out. So we are keeping an eye on it for a few days and if it does not come out on its own I will make an appointment with a dentist and let them take a look at it and see what they think. I probably will not take her to the one I have been taking her to because I am really not too happy with him. He seems to be scared of her and does not really look at her because she cries and it seems to make him nervous so I am thinking about taking her to a different dentist. I do hope the piece comes out on its own because she hates the dentist so bad I hate to get her upset about having to go. Here is a picture of her smiling big!!
Until next time!

McKenzie lost another tooth!

January 11th, 2009
On this date(1-11-09) my daddy was working security at the ER and after being there for about an hour he started having this cold feeling in his chest. He said it was just like a strange cold sensation. So he asked one of the nurses to check his blood pressure. She did and it was fine, but she said he just did not look right so she wanted to run a few more test. They did some test of his heart rate but that came back fine also. They gave him a nitroglycerin, that did nothing, they took blood around that time and sent it to the lab. Then gave him another nitroglycerin, that is when everything bottomed out he started hurting all over, his blood pressure dropped and no telling what else. So around that time they called momma and told her she needed to get t the hospital because daddy was having a heart attach. So momma and I rush to the hospital and I get in touch with my brother. When we get there they are loading daddy up sending him to another hospital. They said he had at least one blockage that needed to be taken care of. When we got to the other hospital they rushed him into surgery and found out he had three blockages. Two in the front of his heart and one in the back. One blockage was 99% to100% (said it was going back and forth because of the meds he was given) the other blockage was 90%-95%. He said it was bad. He said he had to hurry because if they lost that artery they would lose daddy. We were all praying and dealing with it best we could. It was just so unexpected. They call that particular artery blockage the widow maker( meaning usually the person does not make it) So off the Dr goes to put the stints in. He was not gone long at all when we heard him in the hallway. My brother was sitting where he could see the Dr and all my brother would do was drop his head and shake his head. I do not think any of us was breathing at that moment. The Dr finally walked around the corner and said "Everything went good" At that moment you could hear each of us let out a sigh of relief. They put two stints in and said they would worry about the third one at a later time. He also said while in there he found a dangling blood clot but he took that out. Daddy went to CICU for about a day and a half then was in a step down room for about a day and a half. He is a miracle. He did so good after they got the stints in. It took him a while to believe he had a heart attack he had to hear the Dr say it before he would believe it. He thought he would be home the next day and back to work before the weeks end. When we told him no he would be out of work about a month because of the heart attack he was like "NO, NO That is not right, I am fine." But once he realized how bad it really was he calmed down and knew he needed some rest. He is very tired and will drift off to sleep a lot, but that is what he needs, rest. We are so thankful to God and everyone that keep sending the prayers up. I truly feel that is what got us through. Many people do not get to experience miracles but my family have experienced Two in Two years. My mom and now my dad. God has his hands on us and I am so thankful for that. I do not know what I would do if my parents were not here for me and with me.
Until next time!

The day after Christmas
On December 26th McKenzie came into the bed room to ask me a question about a game. It was dark in the bedroom (I was sleeping in) so when I rolled over to turn the light on I elbowed her in the mouth. I put my arm around her and said McKenzie I am so sorry I did not mean to hit you in the mouth. She was like it is ok momma. And off she went into her daddy's den. A minute later she came back and said momma when you hit me in my mouth it made my tooth looser (Yes it was already loose) She looked at me and showed me her teeth all I could see was blood. So we walked to the bathroom calmly I did not want her to know she was bleeding. So her daddy sat her on the sink and cleaned her up some and like two pulls later she was toothless again. So here is a picture of her newly toothless smily. ( this is tooth #4 that has come out)

A NEW YEAR IS HERE!
Well it is now 2009!! Man time sure does fly! I can not get over how the years have just flown by. I will be 32 the 21st of this month and my baby will be 6 in March. Seems like yesterday she was just a little bitty thing toddling around the house. I do hope this is a good year and nothing bad happens to any of my family. The reason I bring this up is because I found out today that the sister to a guy I went to school with was found dead. She was younger than me and now her life has come to an end. So sad. I just do not think I could go through something like that. How do you go on after a death like that. So so sad. The family of this girl is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope God will hold them close to his heart and guide them through this terrible time.
On a happy note:We had a really good Christmas.McKenzie was really excited and enjoyed everything she got from the family and from Santa. New Years night we were invited to a friends house to eat and shoot some fireworks and ring in the new year. We had a really good time and McKenzie did also because she got to play with Emily most of the night and into the morning LOL
Here are a few pictures from Christmas.
Until next time!!
